Searching the detail of the sounds
A surprise awaits all unsuspecting, like me, customers of pastry "Glykarto" in Halandri. Newbie just to get a coffee, I found myself in front of an incredible collection of old radios mainly of the era between '45 and ’60. Telefunken, Sierra, Philips, Grundig, Tesla, Radiola and many other legendary brands that have "traveled" many generations unfold before your eyes. All in perfect condition and "in function" causing you to touch them, to look at every detail. Where the utilitarian object meets art. Materials of another era, curves and nostalgic design.
Remembered the years when the “needle" was tuning the station. The “long waves” brought you in contact with other cultures. A time when radio was the only entertainment. When there was no stereo and dolby surround, and friends gather around them to hear the news and dance the latest hits. A tribute to another era!
